道(It means road or way,and sounds"michi")

Today's Kanji is "Michi",道, we call it to describe for road,way,path,street,track...etc.
Then,It has other mianimg also.
For example, you add the Kanji "柔"to the道,Then ,It means Judo!!!
柔 means soft, kind, gentle like these.
So,Physical power is not best thing, you must train mental force also for Judo.

Any JApanese words that describe own cuiture sometimes has this Kanji "道".Kendo"剣道", Karatedo"空手道", Aikido"合気道", Kyudo"弓道" Kado"華道", Shodo"書道", Sado"茶"...
If you use 道 as composition style, mostly 道 sounds "doh".

Yesterday I walked local area(Yanaka:near NIppori) to search for interesting spot.
The place has a lot of fan to remind the good old Tokyo daily life.

Nezu shrine has many ,"Torii", these red gateways.

Nowadays,we put on some Japanese stuff at Juyoh lobby!

You can see them anytime!

In front of the front, we put up some infomation for guests♪

See ya!

Even Japanese people sometimes make mistake as Kanji writting.Especially young people tend to use e-mail as whatever you write. It is no problem for reading, but when you try to write
some Kanji,sometimes get confuse.
Nowadays in Korean, they don't study Kanji as compulsory education. Kanji is definitry not Korean original. They have original alphabet,"Hangul"
My staff,Chinese-korean , also wrote this blog by Hangul before.
Actually Kanji has various styles. There are many difference of that depend on countries.
Of couse, people who is from Kanji nations often have a conversation with writting Kanji each other.
But,It is not definite way.Just one idea.
But,Kanji is very beautiful letter. We want to familiarize Kanji interesting through the world.
In fact, I don’t have any grades or qualification for teaching and anyknowledge.
I am a just Japanese☆

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Hello it's of Eri.
Is everyone enjoying the new year??

On 2nd of January, I went to Shibuya 109, a shopping centre popular among young people, to get 'LUCKY BAGS'.
A lot of people from all over Japan come here every year in this season to get the lucky bags containing clothes from popular brands.
I woke up early in the morning and got to Shibuya at 6 a.m, and queued up to buy the lucky bags with my friend.
It took about 3 hours to get into the shopping centre.
All I could see was people!!!
By the way the lucky bag I bought contained pretty good stuff so I was happy =)

I think this buying lucky bags is one of the biggest events for Japanese people during new year!

AKE-OME!(a Japanese vogue word:A happy new year)

This Kanji 和(wa)means "soften","harmony" or..."japan" itself.
Mr.Cedric, he wrote his name in Kanji."Perfect!"
Here's above all Mt.Fuji in beginning of the year!!

Everybody, A Happy New Year 2007!!!
Here's first contact of mine, shimpei, in this year.
As you know from these pictures,we took place Kanji writing ceremony for ambitions or anything to this year.
Some foreigne guests tried to write their name as substitute Kanji♪

We will hold like this pleasure event from now on.
Look forward to these things!
See you at JUYOH HOTEL lobby!!!

We hope that this year bring you happiness, success and health!!
