The size of a Japanese style room is usually measured by the number of tatami mats laid on the floor.
The size of our tatami mat is about 1.4 squaremeters (0.85m x 1.7m).
The size of our single room is 3 tatami mats plus a little more space, that is about 5.5 squaremeters.
There is one set of futon bedding and a yukata (Japanese night clothes), a bath towel in the room.
Also, the room is equipped with a refrigerator and an air-conditioner.
The size of our twin room is just twice as large as the single.
We are afraid that we don't accommodate two guests in a single room.
If you are 2 people, you are supposed to take rooms for 2 guests, which is either 1 twin room or 2 single rooms.
When we don't have a twin room available, we give each guest a single room and charge each guest a single room rate.
However, if only you take 2 single rooms, you can decide how you will use the rooms.
If you'd like, you can put 2 sets of futon bedding into one room and sleep there and use the other room for your luggage.
